VStarcam Shiyan Smart Manufacturing Base Hosts Successful Family-Friendly Industrial Study Tour
2026.08.06
To promote the development of a child-friendly urban area in Shiyan Subdistrict and enrich extracurricular STEM practice platforms for local teenagers, the Party Committees and Women’s Federations
of Shuitian and Sanzhuli Communities co-hosted a family industrial study tour titled "Little Eagles Soar in Shiyan, Building Dreams in the Smart Manufacturing City" on the afternoon of July 31st. Held at VStarcam’s Shiyan Smart Manufacturing Center, the event welcomed 15 community families into the smart factory for an immersive exploration of the entire AI surveillance equipment production process.
I. Immersive Tour Unlocks the Full Picture of Smart Security Manufacturing
The tour route was designed strictly along the complete production chain of a smart camera, featuring four stops: Assembly Workshop, Testing Workshop, Packaging Workshop, and the Smart Product Showroom. This progressive itinerary introduced young participants to modern manufacturing and digital technology. Parents and children listened attentively and interacted enthusiastically, maintaining excellent order throughout the tour.
01 / Assembly Workshop: Witnessing the Transformation from Parts to Finished Products
The instructor elaborated on assembly procedures for core parts including lens modules, main boards and housing accessories, and explained to parent-child groups the core logic of labor division, collaboration and standardized operations in modern manufacturing. This enabled children to visually understand how scattered spare parts are assembled into a complete smart device and develop a basic understanding of industrial production workflows.

02 / Testing Workshop: Understanding the Rigorous Standards of "Quality First"
The on-site staff demonstrated multi-dimensional factory tests, including imaging quality, AI recognition accuracy, and signal transmission stability. They explained the critical importance of comprehensive quality control for long-term device reliability, helping the youth develop an awareness that "quality comes first."
03 / Packaging Workshop: Experiencing Craftsmanship in the Details
The study group then moved on to the Packaging Workshop, where the instructor introduced that differentiated packaging solutions can protect equipment from damage during transportation. Through this seemingly simple step, the manufacturing industry's pursuit of excellence became evident. The motto "Details determine quality" made the abstract spirit of craftsmanship tangible.
04 / Smart Showroom: Interactive Experience with AI Tech & AI Toys
The Smart Product Showroom served as the core educational segment. Staff demonstrated AI features—such as intelligent identification alerts, low-power consumption, and full-color night vision—using real-world scenarios. They also shared safety knowledge for homes and communities, enhancing the children's self-protection awareness.
Later, Jiang Xiaoli, Marketing Director of VStarcam’s sub-brand "Eaglet Magic Box”, highlighted the company's core AI toy lineup, including Qinhannhan, Little Yellow Duck, Linlong, AI plush toys, AI astronauts, and AI robot dogs.
She gave a presentation on the core technologies of AI toys, presenting cutting-edge AI functions equipped on the toys: multimodal interaction, voice chat in 48 languages, facial & gesture recognition, and emotion perception. She also staged live demos to show the toys’voice chatting, motion-triggered responses and interactive companionship features.
05 / Fun Tech Classroom: Hands-on AI Toy Assembly
After the product briefing, an engaging hands-on tech workshop began, doubling the fun of hands-on creation.
The session opened with a mini science lesson: instructors introduced the core mainboard of AI toys to children, broke down complex AI interactive technologies, and explained the core working principles of smart devices in plain language. Afterwards, they walked participants through key assembly steps of the full AI toy set and allowed ample time for children to assemble the toys by hand, letting them fully immerse themselves in the fun of DIY production.

Once children finished assembly, on-site staff inspected all functional indicators of each toy one by one. They then provided step-by-step guidance on operating the supporting APP and binding the device. Afterwards, children could freely play with the toys they assembled and experience diverse smart functions in person, combining hands-on practice with thinking.
The children gained valuable takeaways throughout the activity: they got to take part in the full production process of smart devices, and were allowed to take home the AI toys they assembled by themselves as exclusive custom tech souvenirs.
The young participants went home with more than just memories; they received the AI toys they built themselves as exclusive tech souvenirs!
As the event concluded, all families gathered for a group photo in front of the showroom. Many parents remarked that this industrial tour effectively bridged textbook science with real-world industrial scenarios, significantly broadening their children's horizons and sparking interest in scientific exploration. Witnessing the smart production line and interacting with AI toys up close offered a tangible sense of VStarcam’s technological prowess, making the experience highly rewarding.
